Discovered at Budgewoi on the Central Coast of NSW this strange little spider is one of two representatives of Dolophones found here so far.
Between 5 and 10mm in size turrigera seems to have the same behaviour as the better known Dolophones conifera.
Both are known as Wrap-around-spiders and can be found clinging to a twig during the day and making a web at night
